A Collaborative Anthology

NNoumenon is an anthology featuring works by Essence Enwere, Andy Mauleon, Charlie Cassellius, and Quang Au, each interpreting the theme of “Cycles” through their distinct artistic lens. My contribution, Manumission, explores the enduring struggle for Black freedom, autonomy, and resistance. The narrative traces the cyclical nature of Black rebellion—how it evolves, persists, and reemerges across time—conveying both the pain and the resilience inherent in that ongoing fight against systemic oppression.
