A Photo & Poetry Zine

Midway is my photo and poetry zine, created during a train ride from Minneapolis to Chicago. I set a personal rule: to only capture images while the train was in motion, letting the passing landscapes shape the narrative. But Midway is more than a physical journey—it's a meditation on rediscovery in the midst of the everyday.

This zine is a tribute to a way of life slipping away, a snapshot of the quiet, fading beauty of the Midwest. I aimed to create a dreamlike atmosphere that evokes nostalgia and longing, even for places you may have never been. It’s about finding oneself in stillness—midway between cities, moments, and memories.

Through imagery and poetry, Midway explores the pulse of humanity in transit, caught between the rush of the present and the pull of the past.
